Google creator tools rollout

Entities: Google · X (formerly Twitter) · TikTok · Instagram · Google Search Console

Overview

In early June 2026 Google introduced Search Profiles, giving qualifying creators a claimable page in Search and Discover that aggregates their recent content. The eligibility criteria focused on large followings and adult users, with an initial launch in the United States.

A month later Google added a “platform properties” section to Search Console, letting creators and site owners see which search queries drive traffic to their Instagram, TikTok, X and YouTube pages. The feature provides query‑level data on impressions, clicks and rank, offering a consolidated view of how social posts are discovered via Google.

In early July the rollout of the platform properties tool began gradually over the coming weeks, and by the end of the month it was made available globally in regions such as Taiwan, Hong Kong and France. Users can verify ownership of a social‑media account directly in Search Console—no website is required—to add it as a property. The reports cover the four supported platforms and complement native analytics, while Google has indicated no immediate plans to include Facebook, Threads, Pinterest or other services.
