Google Photos launches AI virtual try-on feature

Google Photos has introduced a new AI-powered virtual try-on feature that allows users to experiment with clothing combinations. Using Gemini technology, the tool analyzes existing photos in a user's gallery to create a digital inventory of their wardrobe, including items like jackets, t-shirts, and shoes.

Users can select specific garments and request the AI to generate images showing how different outfits might look together. This feature acts as a personal style assistant, suggesting new combinations based on the user's current clothing. The tool also includes image editing options to adjust lighting and composition. Currently, the feature is available for free and is in its initial rollout stage in the United States.
