Google Pixel 11 series launches with Tensor G6 chip
Google has launched its Pixel 11 smartphone lineup, featuring the new Tensor G6 chip and integrated Gemini Intelligence. The series includes the standard Pixel 11, Pro, Pro XL, and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Key hardware upgrades include brighter Actua and Super Actua displays, reaching up to 3,600 nits on Pro models, and enhanced camera systems offering up to 120x pro zoom on high-end versions.
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold aims to compete in a crowded foldable market by focusing on a thinner design and a refined software experience. Pricing varies significantly by region and model, with the base Pixel 11 starting at approximately $899 in the US or RM3,999 in Malaysia.
In addition to hardware, Google has released a feature drop for existing Pixel users. This update expands scam-text detection to more countries and third-party chat apps using Gboard, enhances VIP notifications, and introduces new gesture controls for the Pixel Watch 3 and newer models. For budget-conscious consumers, older models like the Pixel 10a and Pixel 10 Pro continue to be available at discounted rates.
