Google Pixel 11 price leak shows UK discount despite rising component costs
A UK leak reveals the upcoming Pixel 11 will be priced at £879 and the Pixel 11 Pro at £1,079 for the 256 GB models, roughly £20 cheaper than the previous generation’s 256 GB variants. The baseline storage has shifted from 128 GB to 256 GB, effectively raising the price by about £80 compared with the Pixel 10 launch price. Google’s vice‑president for Devices and Services, Shakil Barkat, explained that a four‑fold increase in RAM prices is driving the pricing strategy.
The leak also discloses battery capacities: the Pixel 11 will have a 4,985 mAh cell, the Pixel 11 Pro 4,850 mAh, and the Pro XL 5,115 mAh. A separate German leak adds hardware details, including a thinner camera module, up to 30 hours of battery life, and a claim of 55 % charge in five minutes with certain USB‑C chargers. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is said to feature an 8‑inch external display, IP68 protection, 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage, with pre‑orders expected around 12 August.
