Google Pixel 11 series launches with Tensor G6 and AI camera upgrades

Google has launched the Pixel 11 series, featuring the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, and Pixel 11 Pro XL. The new lineup is powered by the Tensor G6 chip and emphasizes advanced AI capabilities and photography.

The Pixel 11 Pro models introduce several hardware upgrades, including a 6.3-inch Super Actua display with peak brightness up to 3,600 nits and a 6.8-inch display for the XL variant. Camera enhancements include a 120x zoom capability, a 48-megapixel 5x optical telephoto lens, and a new ‘One-Touch Snapshot’ mode that allows simultaneous video recording and high-resolution still capture. The Pixel 11 Pro XL features an LTPO OLED screen and improved portrait modes.

Market competition is intense, with the Galaxy S26 being noted as significantly cheaper than the Pixel 11 in certain regions. Google is also expected to offer special birthday discounts around September 24th. Additionally, new software features like ‘Proactive Assistance’ are being integrated, which use Gemini AI to provide personalized, real-time suggestions based on on-screen information and user context.
