Goran Minchev announces Academy for Professional Development in North Macedonia
Goran Minchev, the Minister of Public Administration, has announced the establishment of the Academy for Professional Development and Training of Administrative Civil Servants. The Academy is scheduled to begin operations on January 1, 2027.
Speaking from Prilep during the second cycle of generic training for administrative staff for 2026, Minchev emphasized that professional administration must be built on knowledge, responsibility, and concrete results rather than mere declarations. He stated that the quality of institutional work should be measured by the services provided to citizens rather than the volume of documents processed.
The Academy aims to transform professional development into a continuous process integrated into the daily work of every administrative official. Current preparations include developing training programs and modules, enhancing the Learning Management System (LMS), and establishing the necessary infrastructure for training operations.
