Gostivar drinking water confirmed safe by laboratory analysis

The public enterprise ‘Higjiena Komunale’ in Gostivar has announced that continuous laboratory analyses confirm the complete safety of drinking water from the public supply network. Based on official reports from the Public Health Center of Tetovo – Gostivar Regional Unit, the analyzed samples meet all physico-chemical and microbiological standards and comply with legal norms for water quality and safety.

Testing was conducted by Laboratory 1103/2026, which is accredited according to the international standard MKC EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018. Samples were collected from seven different distribution points, including the Makpetrol station on JNA Street, the General Hospital emergency service, public fountains near the police station, the cemetery fountain in Banjicë e poshtme, the fountain in front of the Gostivar Municipality building, the glass fountain in Zdunje, and the public fountain in Ciglana.

The enterprise emphasized that monitoring and quality control will continue regularly through daily sampling and rigorous analysis to ensure uninterrupted and safe supply for all citizens.
