Motorcyclist killed in fatal multi-vehicle accident in Kosovo

A fatal traffic accident occurred on the night of October 24, 2026, on the Prishtina–Ferizaj road in the village of Llapnasellë. A motorcyclist, estimated to be approximately 30 years old, died at the scene following a collision involving a blue Yamaha motorcycle, a Volkswagen Passat, and a BMW.

The vehicles were driven by 25-year-old Arbër Maliqi and 42-year-old Ibrahim Ibrahimi. Medical teams from Graçanica arrived at the scene but confirmed the motorcyclist could not be saved.

Police units and investigators from the Regional Road Communication Unit have launched an investigation to determine the exact dynamics and cause of the crash. The State Prosecutor has been notified, and the body has been taken to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for autopsy.
