Gov. Eduardo Ramirez opens road paving and park project in Tuxtla Gutiérrez

Governor Eduardo Ramírez Aguilar inaugurated the paving of Primavera Street in the El Jobo neighborhood of Tuxtla Gutiérrez. The 1.8‑kilometre work, funded with more than 21 million pesos, includes lighting, drainage, a bridge‑type culvert and access improvements, and is expected to benefit over 500 families.

Later the governor gave the ceremonial start to the construction of Parque Recreativo Bonampak, a modern, inclusive public park inspired by the nearby Maya archaeological site. The park will feature a multi‑purpose sports court, a central building, walkways, a running track, playgrounds for children and pets, veterinary and security modules, shaded areas, a cafeteria, an outdoor theater and lighting, aiming to strengthen social integration, boost tourism and preserve Zoque cultural identity.
