The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced various recruitment drives for 2026, covering hundreds of positions across several government departments and ministries.

One recruitment cycle includes 122 posts, primarily within the Ministry of Mines for the Geological Survey of India (111 positions) and the Ministry of Jal Shakti for the Central Ground Water Board (16 positions). These roles include geologists, chemists, and scientists. The application deadline for these specific roles is September 22, 2026.

A separate notification under advertisement number 11/2026 invites applications for 212 posts. This includes 140 Assistant Public Prosecutor roles for the Delhi Government's Directorate of Prosecution, 64 Assistant Professor positions under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, and various legal and editorial roles for the Ladakh administration and the Indian Bureau of Mines.
