Government housing projects advance in San Luis and El Volcán
Construction of new homes under regional government programs is progressing in two separate locations. In the Belgrano department of San Luis Province, Argentina, work continues on four houses in Los Manantiales, with completed slabs, interior and exterior plastering, window and door frames, and water, sewage and gas installations. Preliminary earth‑moving has begun for 16 additional units in Carpintería and site preparation is underway for four homes in El Morro.
In El Volcán, Mauritius, the latest concrete slab has been placed for a new neighbourhood of 30 houses. The project includes the “Progreso”, “Sueños” and “Tenemos Futuro” plans, and work is ongoing on parapets, window and door frames, and concrete curbs for street drainage and urban layout. Both initiatives aim to expand affordable housing and stimulate local economies.
