Government missions evaluate presidential development projects in Mauritania and Chad

Government monitoring committees and evaluation cells are conducting field visits in Mauritania and Chad to assess the progress of presidential development projects.

In Dabbé, Mauritania, a vigilance and monitoring committee inspected several infrastructure sites under the government's emergency program and President Mohamed Cheikh El Ghazouani's initiatives. The inspection included the Dabbé bridge, a local borehole, the construction of three classrooms at the local school, the Dabbé-Winding road, and the rehabilitation of both small and large agricultural perimeters.

In Abéché, Chad, a mission from the Cellule de suivi et d’évaluation des politiques et projets présidentiels, led by Dr. Abdelhakim Tahir Arim, arrived in the Ouaddaï province to evaluate public projects. The mission aims to measure the concrete impact of these works on local populations and identify causes for delays in priority projects, such as the Mother-Child Hospital, the Bithea bridge, the Amlayouna–Chitété–Abougoulem road, and the Bithea 2 water project. The delegation plans to continue its assessment across the four departments of the province.
