Government recruitment drives announced in Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir

Government recruitment boards in India have announced significant job vacancies for various administrative and service roles.

The Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has issued a notice for 553 Inter Level positions, including Junior Assistant, Computer Operator, and Registrar Clerk. Eligible candidates with a Class 12 qualification and required typing skills can apply online from September 8 to October 7, 2026. The written examination is scheduled for November 15, 2026.

Separately, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has announced 2,863 vacancies for Class-IV Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) and Sanitation Worker posts. These roles span various departments, including Agriculture, Higher Education, and Public Works. Domicile holders of Jammu and Kashmir who meet the matriculation or 10+2 qualification requirements can submit applications online between October 5 and November 3, 2026.
