Governmental restructuring and new appointments in Bolivia and Colombia

In Bolivia, Supreme Decree 5675 has restructured the Ministry of the Presidency, creating a new Vice Ministry of Autonomies and Lands. This merger combines the previously separate areas of Autonomies and Lands, leaving the future of current officials Adrián Oliva and Hormando Vaca Díez uncertain. The new entity will oversee territorial organization, decentralization, and land registry processes under the direction of Minister Fernando Aramayo.

In Colombia, the Ministry of Information and Communications Technologies (TIC) has appointed three new officials. Minister Alexandra Falla Zerrate swore in Camilo Carrascal Vergel as Vice Minister of Connectivity, Germán Enrique Bacca Medina as Vice Minister of Digital Transformation, and Magda Yolima Amaya Arévalo as General Secretary. The new leadership team brings extensive experience in telecommunications, digital infrastructure, and public management to support the ministry’s focus on artificial intelligence and innovation.
