Governor Axel Kicillof backs industrial expansion and child‑welfare program in Buenos Aires

Governor Axel Kicillof inaugurated the expansion of Atalaya S.A.'s production plant on kilometer 114 of Autovía 2 in Buenos Aires Province. The investment triples the annual output of medialunas from six to eighteen million units and adds new jobs, with the provincial government providing financing support.

In a separate event, Kicillof and municipal mayor Carlos Balor signed the province’s adhesion to UNICEF’s “Municipio Unido por la Niñez y Adolescencia” (MUNA) program. Fourteen districts joined the initiative, and a memorandum of understanding with UNICEF was renewed and extended to 2027, covering poverty reduction, health, nutrition, education and protection against violence for children and adolescents.
