Governor Axel Kicillof inaugurates new kindergarten and backs summer school program in Buenos Aires Province
Governor Axel Kicillof visited Patagones in the Buenos Aires Province after a delayed flight and opened the new Jardín de Infantes Nº 910. He also marked the inauguration of the Mihanovich harbour and a municipal sewage‑treatment plant, noting that such costly infrastructure projects are traditionally financed by the national government to protect the river environment.
Later in Chascomús, Kicillof met with entrepreneurs and local officials, promoting the province’s Escuelas Abiertas de Verano. The program serves about 900 primary and secondary students and provides meals during the holidays. He highlighted that 57 % of families are facing a labour‑income crisis and stressed that without state support many children would be left without educational and recreational opportunities.
