Governor Daniel Vilela delivers 85 homes in Goiás municipalities
On 28 June 2026 Governor Daniel Vilela of Goiás handed over 85 zero‑cost houses built under the Pra Ter Onde Morar program in the municipalities of Urutaí and Cezarina. The project invested a total of R$ 13.3 million, with R$ 7.8 million financing 55 homes in Urutaí and R$ 5.5 million funding 30 homes in Cezarina.
Vilela stressed the commitment to construction quality, saying, “We cannot talk about ‘little houses’; this is a social condominium. The works of our government must be of excellence.” He also highlighted the policy’s goal of keeping families in their hometowns rather than forcing migration to larger cities.
Officials from the Goiás Housing Agency praised the initiative as a transformative public‑policy effort, while beneficiaries described the move as a “new beginning,” ending years of rental hardship and offering stability for their children.
