Governor Daniel Vilela launches Goiás Social service camps and zero‑cost housing in southwest Goiás

Governor Daniel Vilela opened a Goiás Social mutirão in Quirinópolis on June 16, offering free documentation, vaccinations, eye exams, legal aid and other services. The event also marked the conclusion of an Agro é Social stage that trained 725 rural producers from 17 municipalities, awarded credit cards totaling more than R$3 million and reinforced the state’s inclusion‑productivity strategy.

On June 18 the governor opened another Goiás Social site in Mineiros, delivering 50 zero‑cost homes built with R$8.3 million from the Protege Goiás fund. He then travelled to Chapadão do Céu, where 34 additional houses were handed over and road projects – the paving of GO‑306, restoration of GO‑050 and the start of GO‑206 paving – were inaugurated, involving R$171.8 million in infrastructure spending. The combined actions aim to expand social services, housing and connectivity for families in the state’s southwest region.
