Governor Eduardo Ramírez Aguilar launches infrastructure and gender‑equality projects in Chiapas

During a work tour of Chiapas, Governor Eduardo Ramírez Aguilar announced a series of public‑works and social‑program investments aimed at improving connectivity, education, water supply and gender‑based services in the region. In Soyaló he delivered a new school facility for 316 students funded with 2 million pesos and inaugurated the start of a 27 million‑peso rehabilitation of the Soyaló‑Francisco Sarabia‑Chicoasén road, which will serve more than 68,600 residents. In Ixtapa he opened the improvement of the El Paraíso‑El Nopal road, allocating over 24 million pesos to benefit roughly 17,000 people. The governor also inaugurated a PAIBIM “Centro LIBRE” for women’s welfare, stating, “Seguiré trabajando con ustedes, haciendo caminos y construyendo aulas.”

In Aldama, Ramírez launched a 6.8 million‑peso gravity water system for Xulumo, an 11 million‑peso multideport facility, a 15 million‑peso DIF building, and a 3.2 million‑peso health‑care upgrade for Chayomté. Additional road works included a 36.5 million‑peso highway segment (Tzelejpotobtic‑Bachén) and a 34.4 million‑peso mixed‑pavement stretch linking Aldama, Larráinzar and surrounding towns. Education investments totalled 17.9 million pesos for school construction and 800 thousand pesos for maintenance, alongside distribution of school supplies to thousands of children. The governor emphasized continued coordination with local authorities to foster dialogue, avoid conflict and promote peaceful community development.
