Governor Eduardo Ramírez Aguilar launches infrastructure, agricultural aid and land‑registry digitalisation in Chiapas

Governor Eduardo Ramírez Aguilar visited the northern Chiapas municipalities of Ostuacán and Sunuapa, where he announced new road and school infrastructure projects and delivered agricultural support, including fruit and cacao seedlings, irrigation pumps and livestock medicines, citing the goal of strengthening food sovereignty.

He also highlighted the near‑completion of the Instituto Registral de Chiapas’ digitalisation programme, which has processed more than 40 million historic documents, introduced high‑throughput scanners, and will generate a legal folio for every property, with an "Alerta Inmobiliaria" system to protect owners from irregular sales. The institute’s offices have been upgraded to modern facilities.

In parallel, the state oversaw the rollout of the federal "Becas del Bienestar" scholarship programme, distributing plastic cards and bank‑issued cards worth 2,500 pesos for school supplies to students in 2,718 schools, with over 158 thousand cards slated for delivery by the end of June.
