Governor Eduardo Ramírez Aguilar launches multi‑million peso infrastructure projects in Chiapas

Governor Eduardo Ramírez Aguilar toured the Chiapas municipalities of Bella Vista, Chicomuselo, Chiapilla and San Lucas, announcing and inaugurating a series of public‑works projects. In Bella Vista he opened a 1.2‑km stretch of the Frontera Comalapa‑Chicomuselo road, an investment of more than 14.6 million pesos, while in Chicomuselo he delivered an electricity‑distribution network upgrade costing over 13.2 million pesos and announced a 20 million‑peso pedestrian bridge that will be operational next week, with a second similar bridge planned in two months. The total infrastructure spending in Chicomuselo exceeds 53 million pesos.

In Chiapilla the governor started construction of a new potable‑water system for the community of Lázaro Cárdenas and the reconstruction of the Acala‑Lázaro Cárdenas‑Chiapilla road, projects valued at more than 36.6 million pesos, and provided a media classroom and equipment for a primary school with an investment of over 3 million pesos. In San Lucas he inaugurated the rehabilitation of the local sports complex, a project costing more than 11.8 million pesos. The state water and sanitation agency announced an additional 19.3 million pesos for the water‑system works, which will include pipelines, a capture facility, storage tanks and a chlorination system. Governor Ramírez highlighted the coordination with municipal authorities and the support of President Claudia Sheinbaum in delivering these projects to improve health, education, security and economic opportunities for the Sierra Mariscal region.
