Governor Gustavo Sáenz touts mining investment climate at Salta Mining Summit

Governor Gustavo Sáenz closed the Salta Mining Summit II, the province’s premier mining forum that gathered national and international operators, suppliers and community representatives. He said Salta has moved from being merely a mineral‑rich region to a “prosperous mining province” built on legal certainty, clear rules and predictable state support.

Sáenz highlighted that investment requires confidence, functional institutions and long‑term policy stability. He argued that mining should transform lives by creating jobs, developing local suppliers, offering opportunities for youth and fostering growth in municipalities and communities across the Puna. The governor called for continued collaboration among all sectors to turn the province’s natural wealth into sustainable development.
