Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona launches safety and road ops in San Luis Potosí

The state government of San Luis Potosí, led by Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, has activated a civil‑protection operation at the Estadio Libertad Financiera for World Cup‑related events. The plan bans knives, illicit substances and other hazards, provides identified evacuation routes, and deploys security, rescue and emergency teams. Attendees are urged to follow weather advisories and stay in safe areas.

At the same time, the Junta Estatal de Caminos has sent work crews to about ten municipalities in the Huasteca region to clear landslides, fallen trees and standing water, keeping the majority of roads open after heavy rains. Only the bridge at Sagrada Familia on the Xolol‑Tamuín axis remains closed due to high water levels.
