Governor Weretilneck unveils road and water infrastructure upgrades in Río Negro

Governor Alberto Weretilneck and local officials signed an agreement to build new cordón cuneta (sidewalk drainage) works in Comallo, Argentina. The project will serve more than 200 families and all public buildings on several streets, creating jobs and improving local infrastructure.

Weretilneck also toured a provincial water‑supply system for San Antonio Oeste, Las Grutas and the eastern port. With an investment exceeding 24 million dollars financed by the CAF, the scheme includes a 2‑million‑liter cistern and aims to provide safe drinking water for up to 100,000 residents and tourists over the next two decades, supporting the region’s growth in tourism, port activity and energy exports.
