GoVolta to launch low-cost rail service between Amsterdam and Paris
GoVolta, a new Dutch low-cost, open-access train operator, is launching a budget rail service connecting Amsterdam and Paris. Starting this upcoming winter, the service will run between Amsterdam Centraal and Paris-Gare du Nord.
Positioning itself as a budget alternative to Eurostar, GoVolta aims to offer significantly lower fares, with tickets starting from approximately $22. This is a notable decrease compared to historical Eurostar prices, which typically range between $50 and $150. While the operator does not promise the same level of speed or comfort as Eurostar, it focuses on affordability and accessibility for travelers between the two cities.
