Goya, Argentina Wraps Book Fair with Musical Acts and History Showcase

The 8th edition of the Feria del Libro de Goya concluded on Sunday at the Multiespacio Antonio Villarreal. The closing program combined cultural presentations and live music. Historian Felipe Pigna, together with Mayor Mariano Hormaechea, unveiled the trailer and outline for a new book and documentary on the city’s history, while poet Julio Cáceres presented his new poetry collection.

Chamamé legend Los de Imaguaré performed to a full house, delivering classic repertoire as part of the festivities. Earlier in the fair, a televised concert titled “Telepatía” featured soprano Anabela Montes and pianist Esteban de Bardeci, who aimed to give "identidad argentina a la música clásica" and described their rapid collaboration as "más de telepatía que otra cosa".

The event highlighted local artistic talent, promoted regional literature and music, and attracted families, school groups, and visitors to the book fair’s stands and food pavilion.
