Goya City Council approves mental health prevention program

The Goya City Council has approved an ordinance to establish the “Bancos Amarillos” (Yellow Benches) Municipal Program. The initiative is designed to promote suicide prevention, community awareness regarding mental health, and the dissemination of assistance resources for individuals experiencing emotional crises.

The session included participation from municipal officials, educators, and students. In addition to the mental health program, the Council declared the book “Nacimiento y Desarrollo de la Ciudad de Goya” by Professor Leonor “Noni” Díaz Colodrero to be of municipal interest.
