Grab and OVO launch AI and digital training for MSMEs in Cirebon
Grab and OVO have launched the ‘Kota Masa Depan’ (Future City) program in Cirebon, West Java, to enhance the competitiveness of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and online motorcycle taxi drivers. This initiative is a collaboration with the Indonesian Ministry of MSMEs and the Cirebon City Government.
The program provides training on digital platforms, financial management, and the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to support daily business activities. Participants learn to use AI for tasks such as drafting product descriptions, generating promotional content ideas, summarizing customer feedback, and creating simple work plans.
In addition to technological training, the program offers guidance on financial management and access to digital funding through GrabModal by OVO Financial. Hasby M. Zamri, Special Staff to the Minister of MSMEs, noted that digitalization has become a necessity for businesses to thrive within the digital ecosystem.
