Grab and OVO MSME digital training initiatives

Overview

Grab and OVO Financial have implemented various business and digital training initiatives for Indonesian Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

In late 2026, the Teras Perwira program provided business and financial education to 1,400 GrabMerchant partners across 10 Indonesian cities. This initiative focused on digital marketing, pricing calculations, and market opportunity identification to help merchants navigate technological advancements and competition.

Following this, the ‘Kota Masa Depan’ (Future City) program was launched in Cirebon, West Java, in collaboration with the Indonesian Ministry of MSMEs and the Cirebon City Government. This subsequent phase expanded training to include the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for drafting product descriptions and generating promotional content, alongside guidance on financial management and digital funding via GrabModal.
