Gracinha Caiado tops Goiás Senate poll with 26% support
A Real Time Big Data poll conducted on July 7‑8 surveyed 1,600 people in Goiás and found ex‑first lady Gracinha Caiado (União Brasil) leading the Senate race with 26% of voting intentions. She is ahead of deputy Gustavo Gayer (PL) at 15% and Gustavo Medanha (PRD‑GO) at 13%, who are technically tied. Dr. Zacharias Calil (MDB‑GO) registers 12%, also tied with Medanha, while incumbent senator Vanderlan Cardoso (PSD‑GO) holds 9%.
In a second scenario that included a broader list of potential candidates, Caiado still leads at 25%, Gayer remains at 15%, and both Medanha and Calil hold 12% each, followed by Cardoso at 9%. The poll’s margin of error is two percentage points with a 95% confidence level and is registered with the TSE under protocol GO‑03751/2026.
