Graeme Dott faces trial for alleged child sexual abuse in Glasgow

Former world snooker champion Graeme Dott appeared at the High Court in Glasgow to face charges of lewd, indecent, and libidinous behavior toward two children. The prosecution alleges the incidents occurred in two distinct periods: between 1993 and 1996 involving a girl, and between 2006 and 2010 involving a boy.

During the trial, victims provided testimony via video-link and in person. One female victim, now 40, testified that the accused touched her inappropriately while she was approximately nine years old in a Glasgow residence. A male victim, now in his late 20s, described instances of inappropriate touching and sexual acts occurring in a shower and a vehicle.

Graeme Dott denies all allegations. The World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WPBSA) had previously suspended the player in April 2025.
