Gragnano: 74kg of marijuana and ammunition seized in Monti Lattari
As part of the Continuum Bellum IV operation, Carabinieri forces discovered a large marijuana cache hidden in the Monti Lattari mountains near Gragnano. The search, conducted in the difficult terrain of Franche di Sotto, led to the discovery of several buried canisters containing 74 kilograms of dried marijuana.
In addition to the narcotics, authorities seized 41 bullets of various calibers, including 18 rounds compatible with AK-47 rifles. The operation also recovered three balaclavas and a kit for weapon maintenance. Investigations are ongoing to identify those responsible and dismantle the criminal network using the area as a clandestine storage site.
