Gramado announces new light show for 41st Natal Luz festival

The 41st edition of the Natal Luz de Gramado will feature a new lighting ceremony titled ‘O Despertar das Luzes’ (The Awakening of Lights). Held at the Palácio dos Festivais, the show will be presented daily at 8:00 PM with free admission.

Produced by Cena#B Produtora, the spectacle utilizes projection mapping, scenic lighting, sound, and special effects synchronized with a musical score and live actors. The narrative explores humanity’s relationship with light, tracing the journey from the discovery of fire to the brightness of cities and stars. The performance features characters such as the Guardian of Light, the Guiding Star, and Santa Claus.

A central element of the production is audience participation, where spectators join a countdown to trigger the official lighting of Gramado. The festival is scheduled to run from October 22, 2026, to January 17, 2027.
