Gramado Film Festival announces lineup and honorees

The 54th Gramado Film Festival is set to take place in the Serra Gaúcha region from August 12 to 22. The opening ceremony will be held on Friday, August 14, at the Palácio dos Festivais, featuring the non-competitive screening of the film ‘Antártida’.

Several prominent figures in the Brazilian audiovisual industry are confirmed to attend, including Lázaro Ramos, Leandra Leal, Marina Ruy Barbosa, and Selton Mello. The festival will feature various competitive showcases for Brazilian feature films, with winners determined by a professional jury.

Special honors will be presented during the event. Marcos Caruso will receive the ‘Troféu Cidade de Gramado’, while Maria Fernanda Cândido and Selton Mello will be awarded the ‘Kikito de Cristal’. Additionally, Renata Almeida Magalhães will receive the ‘Troféu Eduardo Abelin’, and actress Andrea Beltrão will be honored with the ‘Troféu Oscarito’.
