Gran Hotel Pucón sold for US$16.3 million

The sale of the Gran Hotel Pucón has been confirmed through an essential fact filing with the Commission for the Financial Market (CMF). The transaction involved the sale of all shares of Inmobiliaria Península SpA, the owner of the hotel, for approximately 372,342 UF, which equates to roughly US$16.3 million.

The proceeds from the sale are designated to pay international bondholders who are creditors of the casino company Enjoy. Following the sale, Inmobiliaria Península SpA will retain CLP 2,750,000,000 to cover operational expenses, as approved by the Creditors' Commission. The company expects the transaction to result in a profit of approximately $5,761 million, which will be used to offset accumulated losses.
