Gran Turismo 7 Spec IV update to add 12 cars and two tracks

Polyphony Digital has announced the Spec IV update for Gran Turismo 7, which will introduce 12 new vehicles and two tracks through two separate free releases in October and December 2026.

The update will be rolled out in two phases, with six cars arriving in each installment. Revealed vehicles include the BMW M5 E60, a Honda Mugen Motul Civic Si Race Car ’87, the Citroën 2CV Charleston, the Honda Stepwgn Spada, the Mazda RX-VISION GT3 EVO, and the Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo. While the specific allocation of these cars to the October or December batches has not been confirmed, the update represents one of the largest vehicle additions in the game's history.

In addition to the new cars, the update features the return of the Autumn Ring track in both its classic and an expanded format, alongside the debut of the Sportsland SUGO track. Gameplay enhancements include a new Vintage category, brand-specific challenges, a Car Viewer, an increased Collector Level limit, and the introduction of Shuffle Racing. A new Car Concierge feature will also assist players in acquiring used and historic models.
