Gran Turismo 7 to add BMW M5 E60 in upcoming update

The racing simulator Gran Turismo 7 will receive a major free Spec IV update, which includes the addition of the V10-powered BMW M5 E60. While the sedan has appeared in previous titles in the franchise, it has been absent from Gran Turismo 7 since the game's launch in 2022.

Developer Polyphony Digital confirmed the update will be released in two parts, with the first scheduled for next month and the second arriving in December. The M5 is the first BMW confirmed for this update, part of a larger wave of 12 new vehicles including models from Honda, Citroën, Mazda, and Xiaomi. The update will also feature the addition of the Sportsland SUGO track in October and the return of the Autumn Ring in December.
