Gran Turismo 7 to receive Spec IV update in two parts

Polyphony Digital has announced the Spec IV update for Gran Turismo 7, which will be released in two parts in October and December 2026. The update serves as a precursor to the franchise's 30th anniversary.

The first phase in October will introduce the Sportsland Sugo circuit from Japan, six new cars, a ‘Vintage’ section, a ‘Car Concierge’ function for ordering used and Legend cars, new driving challenges, an expanded car viewer, and an increased Collector Level cap.

The second phase in December will feature the return of the Autumn Ring circuit, which includes both its original layout and a greatly expanded version. This phase will also add six more cars, a ‘Family Mode’ designed for players of varying experience levels, ‘Shuffle Race’ (a luck-based race with random cars), online drift trials, and a new difficulty level in the Power Pack.
