Gran Vía shopping centre in Vigo adds 18 electric vehicle charging spots
The Gran Vía shopping centre in Vigo, owned by HLRE Socimi and managed by Grupo Lar, has installed 18 new electric‑vehicle charging spots on parking levels ‑2 and ‑3. The new infrastructure, developed with Iberdrola | bp pulse, includes four ultra‑rapid chargers (200 kW DC CCS Type 2), six rapid chargers (50 kW DC CCS Type 2) and eight semi‑rapid chargers (22 kW AC Type 2). These additions complement existing charging points on level ‑1 and expand the centre’s offering for EV users.
The centre said the expansion "reinforces its commitment to sustainability and innovation", aiming to support the transition to cleaner transport and reduce emissions while serving shoppers and visitors.
