Vox pushes for transparency and reforms in Spanish municipal affairs

In Granada, Vox has asked the governing PP to present a concrete plan to cover upcoming retirements in the Local Police, warning that shortages could jeopardise public safety. In Vélez‑Málaga, the party filed an urgent motion requesting that the city of Málaga refund fines imposed on local drivers under the now‑voided low‑emission zone, citing a court ruling that declared the ordinance illegal. In Palma, Vox’s proposal, backed by the PP‑led council, calls for a comprehensive audit of sidewalk conditions and a four‑year budget to repair damaged pavements, citing compensation costs for accidents caused by poor infrastructure. These actions illustrate Vox’s focus on municipal oversight, fiscal responsibility and public safety at the local level.
