The samba school Grande Rio has confirmed that Alane Dias will return as a muse for the 2027 Carnival. This marks the third consecutive year for the former reality TV star participating in the school's parade at the Marquês de Sapucaí in Rio de Janeiro.

In addition to Dias, the school confirmed that dancer Brunna Gonçalves will also remain as a muse. These announcements follow recent changes to the school's leadership and performers, including the appointment of singer Anitta as the new drum queen following the departure of Virginia.

The theme for the 2027 parade has been announced as ‘Sankofa Tabon – Os retornados da Costa do Ouro e a Estrela Negra da Liberdade’, focusing on historical roots and themes of freedom.
