Granja Tres Arroyos and Flybondi face legal and financial restructuring

Major Argentine companies Granja Tres Arroyos (GTA) and Flybondi are facing significant legal and financial restructuring processes.

Commercial Court No. 21 has frozen USD 13.56 million belonging to four companies within the Granja Tres Arroyos group, including Wade, Avex, and Holding Agroindustrial. The judge also requested clarification regarding an additional USD 15.97 million held at Eurobanco. This judicial action comes as the group's formal bankruptcy proceedings remain pending, affecting approximately 6,500 workers. The court has demanded reports on the status of employee salaries and social security contributions.

Separately, the airline Flybondi has filed for creditor restructuring (concurso preventivo) following weeks of flight cancellations, seizures, and debt issues. Since COC Global Enterprise took control in June 2025, the airline has significantly reduced its operations, currently flying only three aircraft. The company faces a tax debt of 6.6 billion pesos, along with outstanding payments to the National Civil Aviation Administration (ANAC) and various service providers. The restructuring follows the dismissal of 900 employees and widespread passenger complaints regarding refunds.
