Granja Tres Arroyos faces asset seizures amid US$350.9 million debt crisis

Granja Tres Arroyos, a major Argentine poultry producer, is facing severe financial and judicial pressure as it attempts to restructure approximately US$350.9 million in debt. The company is currently working with Valo Columbus, the investment banking division of Banco de Valores, to renegotiate commercial, fiscal, and financial obligations, seek new investors, and sell non-essential assets.

Judicial actions have intensified, with courts ordering the seizure of properties linked to the controlling De Grazia family, including a home in Highland Park, Pilar, and real estate in Buenos Aires and Canning. Additionally, a separate case involving the group's subsidiary, Avex SA, has resulted in a general inhibition of assets for the company and five related individuals.

The group's financial instability is further evidenced by four bankruptcy filings, multiple executions, and over 101.6 billion pesos in rejected checks across its three main companies. A significant portion of the debt, totaling US$123 million, is owed to commercial suppliers, including grain providers, farmers, and transport companies.
