Aaron Pico defeats Losene Keita via first-round TKO at UFC 333

Aaron Pico secured a dominant first-round TKO victory over Losene Keita at UFC 333 in Abu Dhabi. The featherweight bout, held at the Etihad Arena, concluded at the 1:14 mark of the opening frame after Pico landed a decisive right hand that dropped Keita, followed by a barrage of ground-and-pound strikes.

Pico, an American wrestler, utilized early takedowns to establish control before finishing the contest. The win improves Pico’s UFC record to 2-1 and moves his professional record to 15-5. Following the fight, Pico expressed interest in a title shot or a rematch with Lerone Murphy, while also criticizing “ranking squatters” in the division who avoid active competition.

For Keita, the former Oktagon champion, the defeat marks his second loss in the UFC. The match was a replacement bout after Pico’s original opponent, Arnold Allen, was forced off the card.
