Graphite and Zafira & The Funky Royale win Sanremo Rock and Trend 2026

The Sanremo Rock and Sanremo Trend 2026 music competitions concluded on September 12 at the Teatro Ariston in Sanremo. Organized by Nove Eventi srl, the event focuses on emerging Italian artists in the rock, indie, alternative, and pop-rock genres.

In the Sanremo Rock category, the band Graphite took first place, also receiving the Hard Rock Cafe and Dophix awards. In the Sanremo Trend category, Zafira & The Funky Royale emerged as winners, securing both the category title and the Mameli award.

The competition followed a nationwide circuit that began in the summer, featuring regional finals across several Italian regions including Veneto, Emilia Romagna, Lombardia, Liguria, Campania, Puglia, Basilicata, Marche, Umbria, Toscana, Sicilia, Calabria, and Lazio.
