Graphite wins Sanremo Rock & Trend 2026 Rock category

The Milanese alternative rock band Graphite has released their new single, ‘Revenge Obsession’. The track earned the group first place in the Rock category at the 2026 Sanremo Rock & Trend competition held at the Teatro Ariston.

Graphite utilizes a minimalist musical structure consisting of bass, vocals, and drums. The project, led by bassist Michele Cartisano and vocalist Andrea Romano, focuses on expressive bass lines and experimental soundscapes, supported by drummer Simone Barracchia. The song’s lyrical themes explore the concept of harm returning to its perpetrator through a powerful and incisive sound.
