Great Wall Motors and MG expand into Spain and Ecuador with new electric models

Great Wall Motors (GWM) opened its official Nitmotor dealership in Valencia, Spain, marking the brand’s entry into the Valencian market. The outlet will sell the new ORA 5 compact SUV, which is offered with gasoline, hybrid and fully electric powertrains and features the "All Scenarios, All Powertrains, All Users" mobility concept, a 7‑year (or up to 8‑year for high‑voltage batteries) warranty and a suite of advanced driver‑assist systems.

In Ecuador, the British‑origin brand MG is promoting a shift toward hybrid and electric vehicles. Commercial manager Santiago Merchán highlighted growing consumer interest in total‑ownership costs, recent tariff reductions for electric and hybrid cars, and the brand’s focus on safety technologies that can reduce accidents involving pedestrians, motorcyclists and cyclists.
