Great Wall Motor expands global reach with Ora 5 SUV launch

Great Wall Motor (GWM) is expanding its global footprint with the rollout of the Ora 5, a compact hybrid SUV, across multiple markets including Germany, Spain, Argentina, and Brazil. The vehicle is being marketed under a strategy of “All Scenarios, All Powertrains,” offering various configurations including hybrid, gasoline, and electric versions.

In Argentina, the Ora 5 HEV launched at USD 30,990, featuring a 1.5 turbo engine paired with an electric motor producing 223 CV. In Spain, the model offers 57 different configurations. In Brazil, the Ora 5 is positioned as a competitive option in the electric vehicle market, noted for its 58.3 kWh battery and 349 km of autonomy.

Additionally, GWM is promoting its Wey series crossovers, specifically the Wey 03 and Wey 05. The Wey 05 serves as a flagship model with high power output and all-wheel drive, while the Wey 03 offers a more accessible entry point into the hybrid segment.
