Great Wall Motors launches Poer P30 Pro pickup in Brazil
Great Wall Motors (GWM) introduced the 2027 Poer P30 Pro, the entry‑level version of its medium‑size pickup, at Brazilian dealerships. Priced at R$205,000, the Pro keeps the 2.4 L turbo‑diesel engine (184 hp, 48.9 kgfm torque) paired with a nine‑speed automatic transmission and 4×4 drivetrain. It offers a 12.3‑inch multimedia screen, a 7‑inch digital instrument cluster and a safety suite that includes six airbags and an ADAS package with adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane‑keeping assist, lane‑departure warning and traffic‑sign recognition.
The Poer P30 line now comprises three trims – Pro (R$205 k), Trail (R$227 k) and Exclusive (from R$247 k, up to R$250 k with optional sunroof). While the higher trims receive larger screens and additional comfort features, the Pro focuses on core functionality for work and off‑road use. GWM backs the model with a 10‑year warranty on the engine, transmission and differential, positioning the Poer P30 as a competitive alternative to established models such as the Toyota Hilux, Ford Ranger and Chevrolet S10 in Brazil’s midsize pickup segment.
