Great Wall Motors ships first vehicles to Spain as ORA 5 pricing launched across Europe

The Chinese automaker Great Wall Motors (GWM) landed its initial batch of 500 vehicles at the Port of Barcelona, using the Setram terminal. The shipment arrived on the car carrier Anji Flourishment from Lianyungang and will be processed for distribution to the Spanish market, highlighting Barcelona’s role as a strategic gateway for European automotive imports.

GWM has also released official European prices for its ORA 5 SUV. In Italy, the gasoline 1.5 L model starts at €26,950, while higher‑spec hybrids and electric versions range up to €38,000. The pricing is expected to be similar in Spain, positioning the ORA 5 against rivals such as the JAECOO 7, Omoda 5 and Dacia Duster as the brand expands across the continent.
